Directions - From the Louis Armstrong New Orleans
International Airport (MSY) (or from Interstate 10)
- Take Interstate 10 or Airline Highway (US 61) towards
New Orleans from Airport.
- Turn south (right) onto Clearview Parkway from I-10
or US 61.
- Clearview Parkway will run into Huey Long Bridge.
Cross the river on Huey Long Bridge (this is US 90
West) then continue around circle to highway 90.
- Turn right at stop light onto Highway 18 and proceed
approximately 1 mile to UNO-Northrop Grumman building.
- Turn right into the parking lot and then turn left
behind building. Park in any unreserved space.
Note: One-way distance from Airport is approximately
12 miles.
Directions - From Downtown New Orleans via West
Bank Expressway
Note: If not familiar with Downtown New Orleans,
ask your hotel concierge or desk clerk how to get to
the elevated expressway, called the "Crescent City
Connection", going towards the West Bank over the
Mississippi River Bridge.
- Cross the Mississippi River to Hwy 90 West Business
(West Bank Expressway).
- Follow Hwy 90 (elevated) for about 5 miles onto
the ground level portion.
- After another 3.5 miles --- and just before an overpass
ahead --- about 1/4 mile beyond a Shell station on
right, turn right onto Nine Mile Point Road (small
sign).
- Cross over railroad tracks and take first left onto
Nine Mile Point Road-West.
- Continue through stoplight (Texaco on right), crossing
Highway 90. You are now on Hwy 18.
- Proceed on Hwy 18 about one mile to UNO-Avondale
building. Turn right into parking lot and then turn
left behind building. Park in any unreserved space.
